Three injured in area crashes

A Gravois Mills woman was treated for moderate injuries Thursday morning after a one-vehicle accident in Morgan County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the accident occurred at 10:45 a.m. on Missouri 135, a mile north of Cuptree Drive.

Belen Villas, 62, failed to negotiate a curve while hydroplaning. Her vehicle went off the right side of the road, struck a fence and overturned.

Villas was wearing a seat belt.

• A Rocky Mount man was treated for serious injuries Thursday morning after a two vehicle accident in Miller County.

Patrol reports show the accident occurred at 11:40 a.m. on Jade Road, just east of Penny Road.

Tyler Howard, 19, Rocky Mount, crossed the center line of the road and struck the left side of a tractor trailer driven by Philip Neighbor, 31, Ava.

Neighbor had no reported injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

• A Henley woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Jefferson City.

According to police reports, officers were called at 8:03 a.m. to the 2500 block of U.S. 54 in the eastbound lanes for a rollover motor vehicle crash.

The investigation revealed a pick-up driven by Jodi Rush, 29, of Henley, was entering 54 eastbound from Missouri 179. Her vehicle began to skid on the wet pavement, and she collided with another truck driven by Kenneth Knox, 31, of Lake Ozark. Rush's vehicle skidded into the median and overturned. Knox's vehicle skidded in a circle and came to rest on the roadway.

Knox had no reported injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Traffic was limited to one of the eastbound lanes for about one hour while crews investigated the scene.
