WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons finished second in the Class 2 District 4 cross country championships Saturday to earn a berth at the state championships.
The Class 2 state championships are next Saturday at the Oak Hills Golf Center.
Blair Oaks finished with 92 team points. Taylor Scott of the Lady Falcons earned all-district honors by finishing 15th (23:03.86). Other Lady Falcon qualifiers include Rachel Isenberg (20th), Nicole Grefrath (24th), Sarah Wolken (25th) and Kasey Kerperin (34th).
On the boys side, Blair Oaks finished fifth as a team with 141 points.
Two Falcons claimed spots in the state championships - Jason Otto (eighth, 18:28.42) and Cole Brenneke (12th, 18:45.93). Other Falcon runners included Adam McCauley (36th), Bo Thomas (37th), Isaac Prenger (52nd) and Chris Parmley (78th).
