Suspect sought in weekend robbery of Bee Line Snack Shop

Jefferson City police are seeking an unknown suspect who robbed Bee Line Snack Shop of an undisclosed amount of money Saturday night.

Just before 10:45 p.m., a black man in his 20s came into the store armed with a knife and demanded money from the register. The clerk said the man took the money and fled to the northwest side of the business, located at 1100 Missouri Blvd.

Officers searched the area unsuccessfully.

The man had a medium build and was about 5-feet, 10 inches tall. He wore a black hoodie, a black mask and gloves. He was armed with a large butcher-style knife.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
