Jefferson City police seeking armed robbery suspect

Jefferson City police are seeking a man accused of armed robbery at a convenience store on Saturday night.

After police responded to a 10:45 p.m. alarm at the Bee Line Snack Shop, located at 1100 Missouri Boulevard, the clerk told officers that a male came into the business armed with a knife and demanded money from the cash register. After getting an undisclosed amount of money from the clerk, the suspect fled the store to the northwest side of the business. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate him.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'10" tall, medium build and in his 20s. He reportedly was wearing a black hoodie, a black mask and gloves, and was armed with a large butcher-style knife. No one was hurt during the robbery.
