The Jefferson City News Tribune wants to hear from you!

For the past few weeks, the News Tribune has looked at issues with staffing in some Jefferson City departments. An article running Sunday will further explore the issue by speaking with City Council members and the mayor about staffing needs heading into the 2016 budget.

But we really want to hear from you. City officials continue to talk about the level of service residents expect from the city, noting staffing and budget priorities are tied to the idea of at least maintaining the expected level of service.

What do you think? Do you feel the city provides the services it should? Are there places where the city should improve or expand service? Or are there places where the city could cut back on services offered?

Let us know your thoughts through the comment section below, or the News Tribune Facebook page, or tweet them with the hashtag #jcmoservice, or by contacting reporter Madeleine Leroux at [email protected] or 573-761-0247.
