Prep Baseball: Blair Oaks shuts out Cuba

WESTPHALIA - The Blair Oaks Falcons rolled to an 11-0 win in five innings Monday night against the Cuba Wildcats in the Class 3 District 9 Tournament.

Blair Oaks scored twice in the first, four times in the second and five times in the third.

Adam Schell and Jordan Hair scored three times each for the Falcons, while Bryce Pritchett scored twice. Schell and Jacob Wilbers had two hits each.

Wilbers drove in three runs, while James Reinkemeyer had two RBI.

Clayton Graessle went the distance to get the win, tossing a one-hitter. He walked one and struck out six.

Blair Oaks (14-16) will face Dixon in the semifinals at 7 p.m. today. Dixon topped Bourbon 7-2 in its game Monday.

Top-seeded Fatima will face Eugene in the first semifinal at 5 p.m. today. Fatima had a bye, while Eugene was a 3-1 winner against Steelville.
