Motorcyclist hurt in 2-vehicle crash

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident Monday night in Jefferson City.

Police reports show the accident occurred at 9:33 p.m. near Missouri Boulevard and South Ten Mile Drive.

A vehicle driven by Scott Surface, 44, Jefferson City, was stopped at the South Ten Mile stop sign at Missouri Boulevard.

Surface pulled out in front of a motorcycle, driven by Daniel Olsen, 23, Jefferson City, which was going east in the left driving lane on Missouri, approaching South Ten Mile.

Olsen attempted to stop, but hit the ground and slid into Surface's vehicle.

Olsen was treated for moderate injuries.

Surface, who was wearing a seat belt, had no reported injuries.
