The Helias tennis team's season came to a close Monday, as the Crusaders competed in the Class 1 District 8 individual tournament at Washington Park.
T.J. Hagenhoff finished third overall in the singles tournament. He defeated Father Tolton 6-4, 6-2 before falling to Fulton 6-0, 6-7, 8-10. Richland forfeited the third-place match.
Ryan Pollock fell in his lone match Monday: 2-6, 3-6 to School of the Osage.
In doubles, Klint Braun and Tristan Grawe defeated Osage 6-3, 5-7, 10-8 before falling 6-1, 6-2 in the semifinals to Tolton.
Dalton Buschjost and Dylan Grawe defeated Richland 0-6, 6-4, 10-5 before falling to Osage 6-1, 6-2.
The duos of Braun-Tristan Grawe and Buschjost-Dylan Grawe faced off in the third-place match, and Braun and Tristan Grawe won 8-6 to take fourth. Buschjost and Dylan Grawe finished fourth overall.
