College Softball: Changes for Missouri's regional

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Today's potential wet weather has brought changes to the starting times for the NCAA Division I Softball Regional Tournament games hosted by the Missouri Tigers.

Louisville (30-17) and Kansas (38-13) will now play in the first game of the day at noon. Missouri (39-14) will then take on Indiana State (26-29) at 3 p.m.

Missouri, hosting a regional for the seventh consecutive season, is the overall No. 10 seed in the tournament. The Tigers have won six of those seven regionals.

It is the first NCAA Tournament appearance for Indiana State, which won the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title earlier this month. Missouri holds a 15-3 edge in the all-time series against Indiana State.

Action is scheduled to resume at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with three games. The title game is slated for a noon start Sunday.
