COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays wrapped up the team portion of their tennis season Wednesday with a 5-0 loss to the Rock Bridge Bruins in the finals of the Class 2 District 9 Tournament.
The Jays finish the season at 17-4, with three of the losses coming to the Bruins. Rock Bridge (19-1) will now host the sectional and quarterfinal rounds of the state tournament later this month.
Jefferson City will compete in the individual district tournament Saturday in Columbia.
