3 hurt in JC accident

Three people were hurt in a two vehicle accident Tuesday night in Jefferson City.

Police reports show the accident occurred at 9:10 p.m. at the intersection of West Dunklin Street and Jefferson Street.

A vehicle driven by Pamela Ussery, 65, Gravois Mills, was going south on Jefferson and a vehicle driven by Jasmine Young, 20, Jefferson City, was going east on West Dunklin.

Ussery failed to stop for a solid red light at the intersection and her vehicle was struck in the front passenger side by the front end of Young's vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and both were treated for minor injuries.

A passenger with Young, Kaylynn Woolfolk, 19, Lynwood, IL, was not wearing a seat belt and was also treated for minor injuries.
