TUSCUMBIA - Behind home runs from Ryan Mantle and Daulton Niederhelm, the Linn Wildcats defeated Tuscumbia 4-3 in nine innings Monday.
Tony Mebruer earned the win in relief, throwing two scoreless innings and striking out three.
Ryan Deeken started the game for Linn, going 52/3 innings, allowing four hits and striking out nine. Niederhelm pitched 11/3 innings in relief of Deeken.
In addition to the pair of homers, Cameron Laughlin, Eathan Hickey and Jacob Voss each had a hit for the Wildcats.
Linn (18-3) hosts Eugene on Monday.
