CUBA, Mo. - The Linn Wildcats allowed just two runs Saturday in victories against Cuba and North County.
Linn defeated Cuba 4-1 in its first game.
Ethan Lee was the winner in relief of Ben Klebba. Klebba pitched the first 22/3 innings, giving up a run on five hits and two walks. Lee pitched 31/3 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out two.
Ryan Mantle had two hits and two RBI for Linn. Chase Laughlin and Cameron Laughlin also drove in runs.
Linn then dropped North County 13-1 as Ben Brandt and Nick Nenninger combined to work on the mound for the Wildcats.
Cameron Laughlin had three hits and six RBI in the victory. Chase Laughlin also had three hits, while driving in a run. Mantle finished with two hits and an RBI.
Linn (17-3) will play Monday at Tuscumbia.
