Blair Oaks downs S. Callaway, Iberia

MOKANE, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Falcons won two games Saturday, blanking South Callaway 4-0 and topping Iberia 5-1.

Jason Rackers tossed a complete-game one-hitter for the Falcons in the win against the Bulldogs. He did not allow a walk while striking out eight South Callaway batters.

South Callaway's lone hit was a one-out single in the bottom of the third inning.

The Falcons scored two runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh in the contest.

Jordan Hair had two hits and scored twice for Blair Oaks. Hair, Brent Heckemeyer and Bryce Pritchett all had an RBI.

Adam Schell had a solo home run for Blair Oaks in the win against Iberia.

Ethan Rackers and Dylan Hoelscher also drove in runs for the Falcons, who had four hits in the game.

Ryan Paschal was the starter and winner, working 4 2/3 innings. He allowed a run on three hits and four walks while striking out seven. Ryan Pritchett pitched the final 2 1/3 innings for the save. He struck out three.

Blair Oaks (10-15) is back in action at 5 p.m. Monday in the resumption of a suspended game against Versailles. The contest is tied at three heading to the top of the third inning.
