Stockman Construction Company will be installing a water main on Union Street.
As a result, Union Street between Monroe Street and Oak Street will be closed.
The work will begin on Wednesday at 8 a.m. and should be complete by 5 p.m. the same day.
Detour signage will be posted in the area.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
