HALLSVILLE - The Blair Oaks C team dropped to games to Hallsville on Monday to begin its season.
In the first game, a five-inning, 8-4 loss, Nick Lock led the Falcons with three hits a run scored and an RBI. Steven Drake had a hit, two RBI and a walk.
On the mound, Tim Fick allowed seven runs, four earned, in two innings on eight hits, four walks and two strikeouts. Austin Beltrop threw two innints, allowing three hits, no runs and a walk and striking out three.
In the second game, a 16-2 loss in 3 innings, Colton Hoelscher threw two innings, allowing eight runs - seven earned - on eight hits, three walks and three strikeouts. Lock allowed seven earned runs on five hits, five walks and a strikeout.
Blair Oaks' C team (0-2) plays tonight at Helias.
