Illinois woman caught

An Illinois woman has been charged with multiple crimes in Callaway County.

Sarah See, 32, is facing charges of resisting arrest, identity theft, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and had an Illinois warrant for unlawful use of a credit card.

On Sunday, Illinois State Police informed Callaway County sheriff of a felony warrant for See's arrest for unlawful use of a credit device with full US extradition. A picture was provided which deputies recognized as a female which has been using the name Sara R. Barringer.

Early Monday morning, deputies went to a residence just outside of Fulton, where they found See hiding behind a residence. She was taken into custody and was found to be in possession methamphetamine.

See had been sought for resisting arrest and identify theft after a vehicle pursuit on Feb. 14 where she identified herself as Barringer.
