HAYS, Kan. - The Lincoln Blue Tigers dropped an 8-1 decision Saturday to Fort Hays State.
Maeva Lasfargue of Lincoln picked up the win for the Blue Tigers at No. 1 singles. She won her match 7-5, 6-7 (2-7 tiebreaker), 11-9.
Falling in singles for Lincoln were Abigail Gober (6-0, 6-0), Ashley Roling (6-0, 6-2), Yvonne Geldner (6-0, 6-0) and Christiana Moore (6-0, 6-1).
In doubles, the teams of Gober and Roling. along with Lasfargue and Geldner, both lost 8-1.
Lincoln forfeited at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Lincoln (0-6 overall, 0-6 Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association) will host Stephens College on Tuesday.
