WILLARD, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays were 6-4 winners Saturday in baseball action against Willard.
Blaine Meyer was the winning pitcher for the Jays, working six innings. He struck out five. Travis Hennessy worked the seventh.
Gaven Strobel had three hits for the Jays. Ripken Dobson and Grant Wood had two each, while Dobson drove in two runs.
Jefferson City (1-3) will play Tuesday at Waynesville.
