February 2015 residential home sales statistics from the Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors are as follows:
Number of active listings: 590, compared to 636 in February 2014.
Number of new listings: 157, compared to 141 in February 2014.
Number of units sold: 84, compared to 70 in February 2014.
Average sales price: $138,813, compared to $130,020 in February 2014.
Average days on market: 97, compared to 93 in February 2014.
Total units sold year-to-date: 145, compared to 139 in February 2014.
Missouri's real estate market continued to see the number of homes sold and average selling prices increase compared to the same time last year, according to Missouri REALTORS data.
Statewide residential home sales statistics from February 2015 compared to February 2014 are as follows:
Number of homes sold: 4,143, a 9.2 percent increase compared to 3,794 in February 2014.
Average number of days on market: 132, a 1.5 percent decrease from 134 in February 2014.
Average sales price: $156,562, a 10.1 percent increase from $142,160 in February 2014.
Median sales price: $129,900, a 10.1 percent increase from $118,000 in February 2014.
Total units sold year-to-date: 7,700, a 3.6 percent increase compared to 7,433 in February 2014.
