Jays open tennis season with victory against Lakers

The Jefferson City Jays made quick work of the Camdenton Lakers, winning Wednesday's tennis dual 5-0 before the remainder of the action was called off due to rain at Washington Park.

All five of the victories by David Steinmeyer, Spencer Bone, Dane Biesemeyer, Isaac Rolin and Joey Mendez were by scores of 8-0. David Clausen of Jefferson City was leading his match 6-1 when it was halted due to the weather.
