ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Justin Fontaine had a goal and two assists, linemate Thomas Vanek also scored and the Minnesota Wild breezed by the St. Louis Blues with a 6-3 victory on Saturday.

Chris Stewart, Zach Parise, Jonas Brodin and Mikko Koivu contributed goals, too, and Charlie Coyle and Ryan Suter each had two assists for the Wild, who improved to an NHL-best 22-6-2 since trading for goalie Devan Dubnyk on Jan. 14.

Dubnyk, acquired from Arizona for a third-round draft pick, has started all 30 of those games. He made 26 saves to beat the Blues on a second straight weekend.

Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz each had a goal and an assist and Paul Stastny scored late for the Blues, who stayed three points behind Anaheim for first place in the Western Conference. The Blues have played one fewer game.

CANUCKS 4, KINGS 1

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Radim Vrbata set up the tying goal by Nick Bonino in the second period and scored the go-ahead goal during a 5-on-3 power play in the third, leading Vancouver over Los Angeles.

Eddie Lack made 25 saves for Vancouver. The Kings, who have 11 games left, could have tied Vancouver for second place in the Pacific Division with a regulation win.

Daniel Sedin and Bo Horvath scored empty-net goals in the final minute.

Vrbata put the Canucks ahead 2-1 at 4:31 of the third with his 27th goal, playing the puck off the end boards after a long slap shot by Alex Edler and putting it past Jonathan Quick while he was out of position. Quick finished with 38 saves.

BLUE JACKETS 3, FLAMES 2, OT

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) - Rene Bourque scored his second of the game at 4:01 of overtime to give Columbus over Calgary.

With prolonged pressure in the Flames end, Kevin Connauton's shot was stopped but Bourque slipped the rebound past Karri Ramo's outstretched pad.

Artem Anisimov also scored for Columbus, which has won six of seven overall including its first sweep of Western Canada.

Sean Monahan and Jiri Hudler scored for Calgary. The Flames remain in third place in the Pacific Division, two points back of Vancouver and two points up on Los Angeles. The Canucks and Kings hold a game in hand.

RANGERS 3, HURRICANES 2, SO

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Jesper Fast and J.T. Miller scored, and Mats Zuccarello had the lone goal in the shootout as the New York Rangers edged Carolina.

Cam Talbot shook off a 1-0 home loss to Chicago and made 28 saves to lift the Rangers to their NHL best 23rd road victory this season. Talbot made two saves in the shootout, and Carolina's other attempt went high.

Fast's goal at 12:59 of the second gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead after Miller had tied it 3:39 into the period.

Carolina struck first as Elias Lindholm scored 2:01 in, but the Rangers swept the five-game season series.

New York improved to 16-3-3 since No. 1 goalie Henrik Lundqvist by a neck injury - 14-3-3 with Talbot in goal.

PANTHERS 2, BRUINS 1, SO

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) - Brandon Pirri scored the winning shootout goal to lead Florida past Boston.

Pirri beat Tuukka Rask in the second round of the shootout. Roberto Luongo turned aside all three of Boston's shooters.

The Panthers won their second in a row and beat Boston for the first time since a 6-2 home victory on March 15, 2012 - a span of 10 games.

Jimmy Hayes scored in regulation for the Panthers, and Luongo made 26 saves in his second start since returning from a shoulder injury.

Patrice Bergeron scored, and Rask stopped 24 shots in the Bruins' fourth straight loss. Boston is one point ahead of Ottawa in the race for the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Panthers are four points behind the Bruins, and three points behind Ottawa.

CANADIENS 2, SHARKS 0

MONTREAL (AP) - Tomas Plekanec scored in the first period and Carey Price made 29 saves for his second shutout in a row and ninth of the season as Montreal beat San Jose.

Price, coming off a 4-0 win over Carolina on Thursday, earned his NHL-leading 40th victory to become the third Canadiens goalie to reach that milestone - following Jacques Plante and Ken Dryden, who share the team record with 42 wins.

Brendan Gallagher had an empty-net goal with 14 seconds left as Eastern Conference-leading Montreal (46-20-7) won its third game in a row.

Antti Niemi made 27 saves for the Sharks (35-29-8), whose chase for a Western Conference playoff spot took a hit.

ISLANDERS 3, DEVILS 0

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Jaroslav Halak made 26 saves in his return to the lineup, and the New York Islanders snapped a season-high, four-game losing streak with a victory over New Jersey.

Recently benched Ryan Strome scored a goal and set up another by Travis Hamonic. Kyle Okposo added an empty-net goal with 38 seconds left.

Halak, who missed the Islanders' previous game with a lower-body injury, was outstanding in recording his fifth shutout of the season.

Strome, a healthy scratch two games earlier, scored in the first period for his first goal in nine games. Hamonic added his in the third after a power play ended.

Cory Schneider made 27 saves for the Devils, whose three-game winning streak was snapped.

SENATORS 5, MAPLE LEAFS 3

OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) - Kyle Turris scored the winning goal, and Ottawa extended its winning streak to six games by topping Toronto.

Turris added an empty-net goal with 46.6 seconds remaining.

Mike Hoffman, Erik Karlsson and Curtis Lazar also scored for the Senators. Andrew Hammond, making his sixth straight start, improved to 13-0-1 in his first 14 NHL starts as he stopped 22 shots.

Joakim Lindstrom, Leo Komarov and Tim Erixon scored for the Maple Leafs, who have lost five straight. James Reimer allowed three goals on 18 shots before being replaced by Jonathan Bernier, who allowed one goal on 23 shots.

JETS 3, CAPITALS 0

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) - Ondrej Pavelec made 27 saves, and Winnipeg beat Washington for its fourth consecutive win.

Mark Stuart, Mark Scheifele and Adam Lowry scored for Winnipeg, which extended its lead to four points over Los Angeles in the chase for the final Western Conference wild card.

The Jets finished a perfect three-game homestand. It was the fourth win in a row for Pavelec, who recently reclaimed his starting job from rookie Michael Hutchinson.

The Capitals lost for the first time in four games.

PREDATORS 3, SABRES 0

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Pekka Rinne made 24 saves to lead Nashville over Buffalo.

Taylor Beck, Craig Smith, and Mike Fisher scored for Nashville, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Rinne earned his third shutout of the season and 36th of his NHL career.

Matt Hackett made 40 saves for Buffalo, which has lost nine of 10.

Beck gave the Predators a 1-0 lead at 14:52 of the second period.

STARS 4, BLACKHAWKS 0

DALLAS (AP) - Kari Lehtonen stopped 33 shots, including a penalty shot, for his fifth shutout this season and 32nd of his NHL career, and Dallas routed Chicago.

Patrick Eaves, Tyler Seguin, Shawn Horcoff and Jason Spezza scored for Dallas. Alex Goligoski set up two of the Stars' goals as they won their second straight and seventh in nine games.

The Blackhawks had been 6-0-1 in their previous seven games.

Lehtonen turned away Brandon Saad's backhander on a penalty shot 7:13 into the third period. The penalty shot was the first Lehtonen faced this season and came after Jordie Benn tripped Saad.

Corey Crawford made 25 saves for the Blackhawks.

PENGUINS 3, COYOTES 1

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Arizona goalie Mike Smith inadvertently banked a clearance pass off Pittsburgh's Brandon Sutter's backside and into his own net, sparking the Penguins from a dreadful start to a victory that snapped a four-game losing streak.

Daniel Winnik's redirect over Smith's head and under the crossbar 4 minutes later in the second period put the Penguins ahead to stay.

Sidney Crosby scored his 23rd goal into an empty net with 12 seconds left and earned his 50th assist on Winnik's goal. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 30 shots.

Tobias Rieder's short-handed goal 1:34 in was the lone offense for the Coyotes, who have lost 17 of 18. Smith stopped 34 shots in his 36th loss. He is the first to lose that many in a season since Marc Denis for Columbus in 2003-04.

OILERS 5, FLYERS 4, OT

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored two goals, including the winner 2:46 into overtime as Edmonton beat Philadelphia.

Teddy Purcell, Matt Hendricks and Jordan Eberle scored in regulation for the Oilers (20-39-13), who have won two of three.

Claude Giroux netted two goals, and Ryan White and Michael Raffl also scored for the Flyers (29-29-16), who have lost four in a row and eight of nine.

Edmonton started the scoring just 51 seconds in.
