Prep Baseball: Jays frosh, sophs split

Jefferson City High School baseball split a freshman-sophomore doubleheader with C.B.C. on Friday at Vivion Field. The Jays won the sophomore game 11-1 but fell 4-3 in the freshman contest.

Brandon Williams tallied four hits in the sophomore game, and Grant Wood added two hits. Allan Roettgen earned the win.

The Jays freshmen were held to four hits.

The teams host Battle next Monday.
