William Jewell jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning Wednesday afternoon on its way to a 12-1 victory against the Lincoln Blue Tigers in softball action at Lincoln Field.
William Jewell added three more runs in the third before scoring five times in the fourth and once in the fifth.
Lincoln got its lone run in the fifth inning when Allyson Corry doubled home Madison Gooden.
Five Blue Tigers had one hit each in the game.
Macie Kinsey worked the first three innings to take the loss for the Blue Tigers.
The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was called off due to rain.
Lincoln (2-18) is back in action at noon Friday when it hosts Fort Hays State in a doubleheader.
