SEATTLE (AP) - Chris Wondolowski scored twice and Innocent Emeghara added goal in the San Jose Earthquakes' 3-2 victory over the Seattle Sounders on Saturday night.

San Jose (1-1-0) played nearly the entire second half a man down after Victor Bernardez was sent off in the 52nd minute for a bad tackle attempt.

Wondolowski tied it at 1 in the 13th minute. Wondolowski settled a cross from Marvell Wynne with his chest and easily beat goalkeeper Stefan Frei.

Wondolowski made it 2-1 in 48th minute after Brad Evans was unable to clear a ball in the box back to Frei. The loose ball was easily taken by Wondolowski, who then finished an easy attempt.

Wondolowski has scored nine against the Sounders, the most by any active MLS player against the club.

Innocent Emeghara made it 3-1 in the 70th minute.

Obamefi Martins cut it to 3-2 in the 84th.

Clint Dempsey opened the scoring with a record-breaking goal for the Sounders (1-1-0) at the 18-second mark. Dempsey headed in a rebound off a miss by Tyrone Mears to score the club's earliest goal in a game. The previous record was held by Eddie Johnson, who scored a second-minute goal in 2012 against Colorado.

FC DALLAS 3, SPORTING KANSAS CITY 1

FRISCO, Texas (AP) - Blas Perez scored twice and FC Dallas topped Sporting Kansas City.

FC Dallas (2-0-0) broke out quickly, with Perez finding the back of the net in the 17th minute. Tesho Akindele left a touch pass from the top of the box for Perez, who made no mistake on the finish.

Sporting KC (0-1-1) drew even just before halftime, as Roger Espinoza completed a long run with a stutter step just inside the box, and then beat Chris Seitz near post with a left-footed blast.

Perez made it 2-1 in the 52nd minute with his third goal of the season. Seemingly offsides, Perez had time to chest-trap a pass from Michel, settle the ball, and fire past Luis Marin from close range.

FC Dallas got insurance in the 73rd minute as Fabian Castillo beat Marin to the dot for a ball from Ryan Hollinghead and tapped it home.

REAL SALT LAKE 3, UNION 3, TIE

SANDY, Utah (AP) - Alvar Saborio scored on a penalty kick in the 86th minute and Real Salt Lake salvaged the tie with Philadelphia.

Luke Mulholland was tackled by Fernando Aristeguieta in the box to set up the penalty kick.

Real Salt Lake scored first on a free kick by Javier Morales after Saborio was knocked out of the air on a header.

Philly evened it in the 34th minute. A cross deflected off an RSL defender, forcing Nick Rimando into a scrambling save. Aristeguieta got behind the defense and headed the rebound into an open net. Four minutes later, Aristeguieta took advantage of Salt Lake's defense out of position on a throw-in and he went far post.

Salt Lake tied it in the 55th minute as a cross bounced off several RSL players and Jamison Olave, falling down, headed it home. Moments later, Olave deflected a cross past his own goalie to put the Union back up 3-2.

CREW 2, TORONTO FC 0

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Justin Meram and Kei Kamara scored to help Columbus beat short-handed Toronto FC.

At the end of a scoreless first half, Toronto's Justin Morrow was shown a red card after a hard tackle of Ethan Finley just outside the box.

Columbus (1-1-0) took advantage of playing a man up quickly in the second half. In the 57th minute, Finley's perfect cross from the right flank found Justin Meram in the middle of the box and Meram calmly headed it past a diving Joe Bendik for a 1-0 lead.

Kei Kamara made it 2-0 4 minutes later with a close range half-volley.

Toronto is 1-1-0.

WHITECAPS 1, FIRE 0

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) - Raul Octavio Rivero scored in the 86th minute and Vancouver beat Chicago for the Whitecaps' first away victory over the Fire.
