Barstow handcuffs Strafford for Class 3 boys title

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Jeriah Horne scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help Barstow breeze past Strafford 61-46 in the Class 3 boys championship Saturday.

Shea Rush added 17 points while Jacob Gilyard contributed 16 for Barstow (29-2), which won its second title in school history after losing in the finals last year.

The Knights started quickly against the Indians (29-4), building a 21-4 lead by the end of the first quarter. Barstow led by at least nine points the rest of the way.

Grant Boswell scored 14 points and Brady Collier added 12 for Strafford, which fell to 0-2 in championship games. Dallas Hester chipped in another 10 points.
