Eldon man gets probation for break-in

An Eldon man has been placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to breaking into a Jefferson City business in September.

Howard Tyler, 19, was charged with one count of second-degree burglary for breaking into Warehouse Tire on West Dunklin Street on Sept. 4.

Court documents show three sets of tires and approximately $1,900 in cash were taken.

As part of his probation, Tyler must pay $2,945 in restitution.
