A Bland woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 6:45 a.m. Thursday on Missouri 28 east of Pump Station Road in Gasconade County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Saturn VUE, driven eastbound by Sharon K. Kinkead, 63, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a highway sign, overcorrected and returned to the road. The vehicle then ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
Kinkead was taken to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was wearing a seat belt.
