Accidents injure 4 area residents

Three Fulton residents were injured in a one-car accident at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday on Route UU east of County Road 101 in Callaway County.

According to the MissouriHighway Patrol report, a 2006 Ford Mustang driven westbound by Danielle F. Adams, 17, traveled off the right side of the road, returned to the road, lost control and traveled off the right side of the road again, striking a tree, ejecting the occupants.

Adams and two passengers, Kelcee N. Bristol, 17, and Kalob M. Kelley, 19, were taken to University Hospital in Columbia.

No one was wearing a seat belt.

• An Ashland woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:35 a.m. Wednesday on Missouri 163 at Rock Bridge Lane in Boone County.

The patrol reported a 2006 Acura RSX, driven southbound by an unknown driver, crossed the center line and struck a 2011 Ford Explorer, driven northbound by Jodie L. Lewis, 41, Ashland. The driver of the Acura left the scene of the accident.

Lewis was taken to Boone Hospital in Columbia. She was wearing a seat belt.
