The Lincoln women will compete in six events in the upcoming NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Five Blue Tigers will compete in multiple events.
Yanique Ellington and Janae Johnson will both run in the 60- and 200-meter dashes, while Monique Thompson and Jhevere Hall will be in the 800-meter run as well as on the 4x400-meter relay team. Willomena Williams will also be part of the relay team as well as in the 400-meter dash.
Ladonna Richards will run in the 60-meter hurdles along with Juneille Barker. Lovan Palmer will compete the 4x400 relay team.
The Lincoln men have five qualifiers for the championships.
Miguel Barton will compete in the 400-meter dash as well as joining Roger Blake, Winston Edwards and Jeromia Riley in the 4x400-meter relay. Orneldo Thomas will compete in the long jump.
The championships will be held March 13-14 in Birmingham, Ala.
The Lincoln women finished third at the 2014 indoor championships while the Blue Tiger men placed 15th.

After taking second in the MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, the Lincoln women's indoor track and field team is now the No. 6 team in the country.
The Blue Tigers moved up one spot in this week's edition of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division II national rankings, the second-to-last of the indoor season, released Tuesday.
After scoring 142 points en route to a fifth-consecutive top-two result at the MIAA Championships last weekend in Warrensburg, the Blue Tigers amassed 91.19 points to reach No. 6 in the USTFCCCA rankings.
Lincoln is one of three MIAA programs mentioned in this week's top 25, joining No. 2 Central Missouri (144.64 points) and No. 12 Pittsburg State (62.66).
Ashland leads the women's national rankings with 150.23 points while New Mexico Highlands is No. 3 with 131.27 points. Grand Valley State is ranked No. 4 after collecting 125.50 points while Hillsdale is No. 5 with 110.42 points.
