Dear Editor:
Just because you take a poll about evolution and over 70 percent of the respondents believe that God was involved in the creation of this present world doesn't cut it with some naysayers. On the the other hand, there is not one scientific fact that proves that modern day man evolved from some glob of slime that came from the ocean. Just because many so-called scientists believe in the theory of evolution doesn't make it a fact.
Keep in mind that there are a number of these so-called scientists that believe that man is causing the earth to warm and will someday cause the earth's atmosphere to be hot enough to melt lead. That temperature just happens to be around 621 degrees F. This was espoused by a distinguished writer to the editor of our own News Tribune several years ago. I kept the letter as it was memorable.
These same scientists and weather reporters want us to believe that man's actions will cause the earth to "melt" in 50. Who was it that said, "You can fool all the people some of the time; you can fool some of the people all the time; but you can't fool all the people all the time. The only thing some of these people need is the big red nose so that we would know for sure they are really clowns.
I have read and taught the KJV Bible for many years, and have often said that if you can't get the first 10 words right, how in the world are you going to get anything else in the KJV Bible right? I believe that the KJV Bible is "the" infallible Word of the living God." If the first 10 words are wrong, then what else is wrong? How about John 14: 6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the Truth, and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father except by Me." How about John 3: 3, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born, again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
It takes faith to believe that the Holy Bible is the Word of God, it takes even more faith to believe what the evolutionists are teaching to our children in the government schools!
