Soybean group plans annual day at Capitol

The Missouri Soybean Association is holding its annual gathering March 11. The day will include a breakfast and a keynote address by Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster, followed by a brief business meeting and review of the association's resolutions. Missouri soybean farmers will then head to the Capitol for personal visits with their legislators.

In addition to those activities, the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council is hosting a lunch in the Capitol Rotunda and will be featuring biodiesel vehicles at the Capitol that day.

Plans are also underway for a reception at the soybean office the evening before to include soybean growers as well as others involved with Missouri agriculture.

The annual meeting is open to the public and free to members of the Missouri Soybean Association.
