TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Riquna Williams' step-back jumper put Tulsa up by two with 10.9 seconds left, and the Shock held off the Seattle Storm 93-89 on Sunday night to tie the franchise record with their eighth straight victory.

The Shock also had an eight-game winning streak while based in Detroit in 2003.

Karima Christmas' 3-pointer with 44.9 seconds gave Tulsa (8-1) its first lead in nearly 5 minutes at 89-87. Skylar Diggins, who finished with 31 points, banged her knee on the play and had to leave the game.

Ramu Tokashiki tied it for the Storm (2-7), and Williams hit the go-ahead jumper with her foot on the 3-point line.

Seattle's Renee Montgomery missed a long-distance attempt with time running out. Christmas grabbed the rebound and added two free throws with less than a second remaining.

Williams and Plenette Pierson each added 19 points for Tulsa. Pierson surpassed 3,500 career points.

Tokashiki and Jewell Loyd each had 21 points for the Storm. It was a career high for Loyd.

MYSTICS 86, SKY 71

WASHINGTON (AP) - Emma Meesseman scored 20 points and Stefanie Dolson added a career-high 19 along with 10 rebounds to lead Washington past Chicago.

Tayler Hill tied a career best with 16 points and Ivory Latta matched her. The victory made Mike Thibault the winningest coach for the Mystics (6-3), reaching 39 wins in his third season.

Elena Delle Donne scored 26 points to lead Chicago (5-4), which had a three-game winning streak snapped. The former Delaware star, who is averaging 29 points a game, sank all eight of her free throws and has made 48 straight. She's two short of her own mark set last year and 18 off the league record held by Eva Nemcova according to information provided by the WNBA from the Elias Sports Bureau.

She's 81 of 83 (98 percent) for the season.

LIBERTY 79, SPARKS 70

NEW YORK (AP) - Sugar Rodgers scored a career-high 23 points and New York beat winless Los Angeles to snap a two-game home losing streak.

Tina Charles added 16 points and Tanisha Wright 12 to help the Liberty (5-4) overcome a career-high 30 points from the Sparks' Kristi Toliver, making her WNBA season debut after returning from EuroBasket.

Jantel Lavender added 14 points, and Nneka Ogwumike had 13 points and a season-high 16 rebounds for her first double-double this season for Los Angeles (0-7), down to eight players after Andrea Hoover injured her left foot in a game Friday night.
