A Linn woman died and two other Linn residents were seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday evening in Camden County.
Cheryl L. Secrest, 40, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Daine A. Secrest, 43, and Olivia D. Secrest, 6, were respectively taken to Lake Regional Hospital and University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred when Daine Secrest was driving eastbound on U.S. 54 at Runabout Road. Secrest's vehicle crossed the highway, failing to yield to a vehicle driven by John M. Weule, 19, Troy, and the two vehicles collided. Secrest's vehicle came to rest in the eastbound lane of U.S. 54. Weule's vehicle came to rest in the median.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
Weule was not listed as injured.
