Dear Editor:
I was moved by the reaction of the shootings in Charleston as compared to the reaction of the Ferguson shooting.
In Ferguson where Michael Brown was shot after robbing a convenience store and resisting arrest, the response was rioting, burning and looting stores in the neighborhood.
In Charleston nine people were killed while attending a prayer service in church. The people responded with sadness for the lives lost but with love and forgiveness in their heart.
No businesses were destroyed, there was not looting or burning.
In Ferguson Satan won; in Charleston God won.
