Missouri finds out start times for 3 games

The Southeastern Conference announced game times for 32 college football games Thursday, including three contests involving the Missouri Tigers.

The Tigers' season opener Sept. 5 against Southeast Missouri will begin at 3 p.m., their Sept. 19 game against Connecticut kicks off at 11 a.m., and a Thursday night matchup with Mississippi State on Nov. 5 is set for 8 p.m.

All three games will be played at Faurot Field in Columbia and are to be aired on ESPN networks - SEC Network, ESPNU and ESPN, respectively.

The game against Mississippi State will be Missouri's first Thursday home game since losing to Nebraska in October of 2009.

The Tigers have not hosted a night game since defeating Texas A&M in November of 2013 to win their first SEC East title.

Times had already been set for two other Missouri games. The Tigers' game at Arkansas State begins at 6 p.m. Sept. 12 (ESPN3) and their game at Arkansas will be played at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 27 (KCRG).

Start times for the Tigers' home games against South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee and away games at Kentucky, Georgia and Vanderbilt have not yet been determined, nor has the kickoff time for Missouri's game against BYU on Nov. 14 at Arrowhead Stadium.
