Jefferson City police are investigating an incident in which gunshots were fired in the 800 block of East Miler Street.
Police were called about 3:37 p.m. today, and found several shell casings on the street. But, so far, no one has reported any injuries connected with the "shots fired" complaint.
The only suspect information police have is a red Nissan passenger car seen in the area.
