Wholesale dietary supplement retailer Supplement Superstores plans to open a Jefferson City location next month.
The store is original to Springfield and has 14 existing locations across Missouri and Illinois.
Franchise owners Braden Posey and Phillip Stewart opened Supplement Superstores' first franchise-operated location in Columbia earlier this year, and will open the Jefferson City store at 1922 Missouri Blvd., Suite A, in the storefront formerly occupied by Baskin-Robbins.
Supplement Superstores offers vitamin and mineral supplements for sports nutrition, as well as supplements for people who simply want to live healthier lives.
Their clientele is "not just the traditional body builders," Posey said. "We try our very best to be open to all ages."
All staff members are licensed personal trainers and sports nutritionists. They also offer to assemble free nutrition plans for customers.
The Jefferson City Supplement Superstores location is set to open in July. A specific opening date will be announced at a later time.
