6 Mid-Missouri residents hurt in wrecks

Two women were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday on South Country Club and Scruggs Station Road in Cole County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven eastbound by Samantha L. Powell, 19, Lohman, was making a left turn and failed to yield to a 2007 Chevrolet Impala, driven southbound by Bonnie M. Scheperle, 57, Russellville.

Powell and Scheperle were taken to Capital Region Medical Center.

Both were wearing seat belts.

• A Fulton woman was injured in a one-car accident at 6 p.m. Wednesday on Route 2 north of County Road 115 in Callaway County.

The patrol reported a 2008 Lincoln, driven southbound by Mary J. O'Donnell, 53, Fulton, went off the road and overturned when O'Donnell overcorrected.

She was taken to University Hospital.

O'Donnell was wearing a seat belt.

• Two Bonnots Mill residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 10:44 a.m. Thursday on Missouri 89 south of County Road 721 in Osage County.

According to the patrol, a 2014 Harley Davidson, driven southbound by Thomas P. Baker, 47, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Baker and a passenger, Dana K. Baker, 49, were taken to Capital Region Medical Center.

Both were wearing safety devices.

• A Cuba man was treated for moderate injuries after a motorcycle accident, Thursday morning, in Osage County.

Patrol reports show Eric Southard, 25, was on U.S. 63, just north of County Road 615, around 11:50 a.m.

Southard was attempting to execute a stunt maneuver and was ejected from the motorcycle, which ended up going off the left side of the road.
