Obama is at it again. Once again we see the policy of liberals, don't look at anything except the "free" stuff we will hand you if you continue to re-elect us. Sadly, the policy works, they get re-elected.
His latest plan to extort money from some U.S. citizens and use it to buy votes is based on some newly found right to high speed Internet access. The most transparent administration wants to back door the billions in tax increases required to fund the giveaway. The feds love to heap more taxes on us in the form of user fees, so they can boast of not supporting higher taxes. We are forced to provide others with free cell phones, funded by "user fees" imposed on us by the FCC. If Obama has his way higher user fees will be forced upon us to pay for others high speed internet access.
Does anyone see improvement in our nation since we started an ever increasing spiral of handouts in the mid-'60s? I see a nation populated by an ever-increasing number of those who believe they have a right to the earnings/property of others. (The mayor of Baltimore ordered police to stand by and let rioters destroy others' property. Now she has the gall to ask the rest of use to pay to repair the result of her decisions, via bailouts from the feds.)
There is no charity involved in the action of governments. Charity is when you decide how to use the money that you have earned. Extortion is when someone takes your earnings by force (the threat of imprisonment) and uses it for their benefit, i.e. to buy votes.
I shudder when I think of all the other give away the Democrats will offer between now and the next election.
