Jefferson City officials will kick off the 2016 budget process at 5:30 p.m. today (Monday).
Mayor Carrie Tergin will release her draft budget and the City Council then will begin discussions on revenue projections.
Budget committee meetings typically will be at 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at City Hall until the budget is ready for final approval.
The 2016 fiscal year will begin Nov. 1.
