Dear Editor:
I always thought President Obama was a Republican or he sure seemed like one many times - drone wars, TPP, kissing Wall Street and the banks, etc.
But I commend him on the Iran nuclear deal. We need this badly and to restore our relationship with Iran.
There are too many war mongers in Washington. We don't need more debt, dead soldiers and dead innocent people on our hands. Blessed are the peacemakers not the war makers.
I would also like to commend President Obama on his commuting the sentences of several non-violent drug offenders. Our prison and justice system need much work.
I also commend the president on re-establishing relations with Cuba. It's about time.
Talk and cooperation can lead to good things. War and hatred and greed hardly ever being about good.
Pray for our president.
