UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Maya Moore scored 26 points and Seimone Augustus had 21 to help Minnesota beat Connecticut 85-79 on Tuesday night, the Sun's fourth straight loss.

Minnesota made all five of its free throws over the final 15 seconds after Chelsea Gray's 3-pointer had pulled Connecticut within three points with 57 seconds remaining.

Rebekkah Brunson added 12 points for Minnesota (10-3), which led by as many as 14 points in the third quarter.

Alex Bentley hit four 3-pointers and finished with 22 points for Connecticut (7-5), which was 11 of 23 from 3-point range.

MERCURY 80, DREAM 71

PHOENIX (AP) - Candice Dupree and Brittney Griner scored 22 points apiece and Phoenix won its sixth straight.

Atlanta pulled within 76-71 on Angel McCoughtry's 3-pointer with 2:25 remaining. But Phoenix's Noelle Quinn hit two free throws to make it a two-possession game and Griner added a late layup, while Atlanta missed its final five shots.

DeWanna Bonner added 18 points Phoenix (9-5), which had one 3-pointer compared to Atlanta's 13.

Tiffany Hayes scored 19 points for Atlanta (6-8). McCoughtry, Atlanta's leading scorer at 21.9 points per game, had 11 points on 3-of-20 shooting.
