An employee of Jefferson City Flying Service was riding a small tractor on the airport's tarmac when he fell and was run over by the tractor.
Jefferson City Fire Capt. Jerry Blomberg said one fire apparatus and one ambulance responded to the incident around 3:45 p.m. Sunday.
The employee, who was not named, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of his injuries, Blomberg said.
