BizBeat: New signs looming at Capital Mall

Capital Mall is making progress with plans for new signage both in front of the mall and along the highway.

Jefferson City issued building permits to Capital Mall on June 19 for two new signs.

One 36-foot sign will replace the existing sign at the Hy-Vee entrance to Capital Mall, and a new 50-foot sign will face U.S. 50 from the back of the Hardee's property, which is across South Country Club Drive from the mall.

Both signs will list some stores at Capital Mall.

The new signage should be in place by late summer or early fall of this year, said Rob Kingsbury of Farmer Holding Company, which owns Capital Mall.
