KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has announced plans to speak at an upcoming conference in Kansas City.
The Kansas City Star reports (http://bit.ly/1KxAYjs ) that Clinton will address the National Council of La Raza's annual conference in Kansas City on July 13. The conference is being held at the Kansas City Convention Center from July 11-14.
Janet MurguÃa, the organizations president and CEO, said in a release Thursday that thousands of Latino community leaders are expected to attend the event. She says the group wants to hear Clinton's vision for the country and her thoughts on the issues of greatest concern to our community.
