Prisoners hurt in 2-vehicle wreck

A crash between a private vehicle and a Morgan County Sheriff's Department prisoner transport van left four occupants in the van with moderate injuries.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred at 3:18 p.m., Wednesday afternoon, at the intersection of Missouri 5 and Missouri 52 North, just east of Versailles.

A vehicle driven by Mallory Mahon, 28, Osborn, was attempting to make a left turn and failed to yield to the prison transport van, driven by Ryan Hoffa, 29, Stover.

Mahon and Hoffa had no reported injuries.

Those injured in the van were: Jeffrey Eaton, 46, Travis Gerdt, 33, Robert Hensley, 53 and Travis Rudloff, 37.

All those involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
