The 2015 College Football Playoff trophy, which will be awarded to next season's college football national champion, will be available for viewing Monday in Jefferson City.
The trophy will be on display from 1-2 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter, 401 Supercenter Drive.
Fans will be able to have their photo taken with the trophy that will be awarded to the winner of the championship game, scheduled for Jan. 11, 2016, in Glendale, Ariz.
The local Dr Pepper branch won a regional internal competition to host the trophy, and has partnered with Walmart to display it for fans.
Every year, a new trophy will be made. The winner keeps it for permanent display on campus. Ohio State won the inaugural trophy earlier this month for the 2014 season.
