A male middle-school student fro the Jefferson City Public Schools walked away while on a field trip to the Holcaust Museum and Learning Center in St. Louis.
School district officials said the student walked away "willingly" so authorities have considered this a runaway case and did not use the AMBER Alert system.
Jefferson City school officials are working with the St. Louis County Police Department to locate the student.
