A Camdenton man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 7:25 a.m. Tuesday on Route D near Post Office Road in Camden County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report a 1995 GMC Jimmy, driven northbound by Michael S. Hicks, 21, traveled through an area of curves and attempted to overtake another vehicle. Hicks lost control and went off the left side of the road, struck a rock embankment and overturned.
He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Hicks was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol indicated.
